Distinct is a TICA registered cattery dedicated to excellence and improvement of the Sphynx breed.  Located in north Texas, we share our entire  home with several very special souls. Great effort is put into the care and enrichment of each cat and kitten here, and we want it to show!

My name is Hannah, and my husband Jonathan and I fell in love with showing and raising this amazing breed after our first sphynx Gabriel came home.  Our sphynxes are affectionately called our na-kids, as we treat them just like one of our own.  Each cat is a valued and treasured member of our family, sharing all of the amenities of our home. I am working as a nurse with a great deal of experience in veterinary medicine and animal rescue efforts, which has helped me to gain a thorough understanding of what it means to be a responsible breeder.  Health insurance policies are maintained for each of our cats to ensure the best possible care and outcome from participation in the Distinct Sphynx breeding program.  We do NOT financially support ourselves through breeding and raising kittens. 

I am a full member of TICA and am actively showing in the South Central region.  Jonathan and I enjoy travelling together when we can, meeting new people, and making friends along the way.  

Prior to contacting us, please understand that our program is NOT a retail program!  Each kitten born here is valuable to us, and our goal is to place them in the best possible homes to ensure that they are loved and cared for throughout their entire lives.  Please be patient with our adoption process.

Unaltered kittens are placed only in registered catteries in good standing after careful review.  This is done in effort to maintain a healthy gene pool.
